Diamo spazio all'arte e alla ricerca visiva, per piccoli o grandi progetti. Collaboriamo con singoli artisti o curatori, con gallerie e organizzatori di eventi. Offriamo un luogo per la logistica del cinema, nella zona più filmata di Venezia.

Perché Kunst Depot?

Il Depot del Museo Boijmans Van Beuningen a Rotterdam è diventato nel 2021 il primo deposito di museo costantemente aperto al pubblico. Il titolo KUNST DEPOT trae ispirazione dall'idea di magazzino d'arte, di idee, di ricerca visiva, di condivisione. Non sempre perfetto, ma sempre aperto.

Restaurato come galleria nel 2022; prima funzionava qui un famoso atelier di parrucche per teatro, cinema e per il popolo del Carnevale, dell'artigiana Carla Carisi.

Superficie di circa 75mq, al piano terra di un palazzo del XVII secolo. Altezza interna 3,30m. Riva d'acqua a circa 20m. ​

​We foster art and visual research, little or big projects. We collaborate with single artists or curators, with galleries or event organizers. We offer also a place for the logistics of cinema, in the area of Venice where many film-shootings occur.

​

Why Kunst Depot?

The Depot of the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam became in 2021 the first museum storage constantly open to the public. The title KUNST DEPOT gets its inspiration from the idea of storage for arts: give a place for ideas, visual research, sharing. Not always perfect, but always open-minded.​

Restored as an art gallery in 2022; before, the space hosted the famous wig atelier of Carla Carisi, for theatre, cinema or for the Carnival masks.

Surface of about 75smq at the groung floor of a XVII century palace. Inner height 3,30m. Boat stop for transport at about 20m.
